Good Morning,
On yesterday I was challenged with one of my biggest fear. I was angry at myself and had to really lay at Gods' feet in his presence. One feature of my character has been to condemn myself and be very hard on myself when i am at fault or in the wrong. I was attack even by the enemy with negative thoughts throughout the day BUT God! He has a way of sending real Christians your way when you are least expecting to help you stay a course reminding you it's a test and that you are not alone, that he can still be called upon.
So as I write to encourage you move forward →yesterday is merely in the past and you must look forward, not backwards. Implant yourself in scriptures to get you through, pray and ask others to petition as well as join you in agreement. Moreover, do not forget to clothed yourselves in the fruits of the spirit.
God bless & have a wonderful day!
Amen
Fruit of the Spirit
You are called a tree of righteousness, the planting of the Lord. God has given you His nature and His ability to develop fruit, which has to be cultivated; it doesn't appear overnight. He imparts His gifts to you—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. You develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. You will find yourself involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force your way in life, but able to marshal and direct your energies wisely. (Read Galatians 5:22-23 The Message.) This is the fruit of the spirit in action.
PRAYER
Father, your Spirit lives in me, and I am swift to hear. I have learned it’s more important to listen than to be heard. I purpose to be slow to speak, and choose the words I speak with grace. I am slow to become angry. May my recreated human spirit, under the control of the Holy Spirit bear fruit -- joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
